It's ok, I just don't want it. I've got the almost $400 grill sitting on a shelf waiting to go on. I like it alot more then the 3 peice.

Relocating the lights would be easyier. I think you should be able to make one.

what do you need to change the core for on the phantom grill? The only reason to change it to the newer style is for the head lights to be centered in the openings. The phantom has no openings for the headlight to be centered in. I don't see the need to change the core.

The last two times I've done it without changing the support the headlights were up to high and I wasn't able to bolt on the top of the grill. It works out when I change the core. I was thinking about just moving the head lights down like others have done but I don't have a way to make the bracket and I can't find one I can buy for it. I was gonna look at it again today but I have been so sick once I get outside and start any activity I start to coughing, gagging, hurting, been this way for a couple of weeks now. If I could get the lights to work out I'd have the grill on. Oh and I'm gonna paint the center bars the same color as the jimmy too.

I've been sick so I didn't get to work on it yet. But I was able to order a new rearview mirror, and the wires to do the big 3 upgrade. I'm gonna put the mirror in the next time I drive it but I'm not doing the big 3 till I can do more active work. It's really hard to work with pneumonia. But here's a pic of the nice mirror I got in for it.

I was changing my thermostat today and found out that I have the wrong gasket. After going back to the store with one in mine I found out it has either a 93 tbi intake or it has a 93 motor in it. The thermostat on it takes a rubber gasket around it instead of the cardboard type. NOw I have to figure out which one it is.I'm going to put the t-stat back in it tomorrow. How can I tell what I have? It also means that I have a 88 tbi on top and it runs good but I don't know for sure if it is a problem or not.

I managed to go to pull-a-part in bham and picked up a 2nd gen automatic floor console. Not the one with the shifter like I wanted but the other one. I have to clean it up and sand and paint and fine a insert for it since it doesn't have one. If I can't find one I'll make one of my own.

It might be. They looked up a 93 for some reason and was able to get the right part number then we matched it up to the old one and it worked out good. Now I have to put it in.

Well got a new update finally. I changed out my billet grill with my phantom grill. It looks alot better. But I still need the newer core support. I have the brackets for the headlights but not worth the effort. The front fenders are out of adjustment just a little so I will need to look at them next. The core support getting changed is due to the bolts for the grill. None of them line up except for the ones that go from the bottom of the grill. I had to drill a couple of holes but it's on the solid. Here's pics.
