    Just picked up the heart of the beast yesterday
    Plans are for a new cam,lifters,electric water pump,serp. set-up,hooker headers







    I'll get the block repainted before it goes in the jimmy.
    Still have to get the firewall shaved and trimmed also.

    i would go with a 700r4 if you plan on running it on the highway at all. and get rid of the big birtha starter for a gear reduction from a 98+ fullsize

    A buddy of mine has a adaptor that goes on the end of the 350th to give it 2 more gears
    So it would be a six speed 350 auto,should give me highway(drivable) and some extra gas milage
    I'll have to get the drive shaft shortend though

    The Gear Vendor overdrives are nice but almost $3000. I'd love to have one.

    Told me I could have it,I think he's going manual in his new body.

    Painted the motor and tryed to get it looking good

    the orange just wasn't going with the silver/blue two tone I'm doing the exterior

    I've done a little work on the jimmy last night(Can't do much with a torn rotator cuff)
    I got the motor and tranny in,Started on relocating the gas filler door,and removed all the glass,and interior pieces for paint

    I still need to get a radiator,wiring and a crossmember,It's slow going but it will get done before summer.

    Parts came in
    1)Radiator
    2)Complete wiring harness
    3)Hedman Hedders
    4)Shaved door handle kit

    I also picked up a A/C delete blower motor,and trans crossmember from the junkyard
    I'll have pics of everything as I get it done.Trying to help build up the site.(DIY how-to's)
    Just seems like alot of pics are MIA on here
