If that is on your upper manifold on the driver's side, it is the PCV valve vent and also the vaccum line for your A/C control vents

The small nippe on the side supplies vaccum to open and close your vents.

Its a check valve of some sort.

Its connected to the air pump under the car.

It was completely filled with water as well, so I ended up ordering a replacment for $38 that I'll get tomorrow.

    it should.

the airpump is electric, under the car attached to pass side frame rail near radiator

that valve is basically under the crank pulley

im pretty sure its a purge valve that tosses emissions back into the manifold to be re burned or something of that nature.

its all fixed, its a check valve that opens and closes to allow air from the airpump into the exhaust.

after I replaced the entire assembly and thought all was good in the world, i got the SES light about 75 miles later.

so being lazy the first time, i checked the fuse that sits next to the battery inside the fender

    30A Maxi Fuse - BLOWN.

Im wondering if all i needed to do was replace the fuse and not anything else! But that motor was filled with about 12 oz of water and Im not dealing with reflashing the CPU.

The air pump kit i used gives you a longer intake tube with a snorkel, a new solenoid which mounts up top, and new vacuum lines.
