    Gas door options

Ok guys need some advice here. I'm trying to figure out what style fuel door to run and where to put it. I have an aluminum fuel cell now that I plan on putting behind the passenger seat inside the truck on the floor. I really don't want to have to fill it from inside the truck so I would like something I can put on the passenger side out side. My truck is fully shaved body lines and door handles with suicide doors and full sliding ragtop. It is also body dropped so the whole rear floor is cut open and I plan on showing the work off for the most part so putting it in the back isnt really an option. Has anyone seen a fuel cell located there before or have any ideas of a fuel door that might work for me? I was thinking about putting a filler between the rear window and front door. Truck is a 89 2 door blazer.

You could use a fuel cap off an older truck that has the fuel tank behind the seat. The old ones with the screw on cap that exits to the side. that's all That came to mind for me.

motor cycle push button in the roof. There was one done like that in minitruckin years ago. Seems like you should be able to snake it up the b pillar and hide the fill tube under interior panels

supernova I thought about that the problem I run into is a few things. The b pillar is all reinforced and has the boxes for the suicide hinges in them and also I have a full sliding ragtop in my roof so that also comes into play.

hmm, i didnt think about the buckets for the door hinges. Ive seen them in the door jambs too, but i think that might be a awkward spot to fill. Best bet might be a small flush mount pop up cap painted body color where ever it falls out in the quarter

Man this takes me back. Heres the idea Martin is talking about. I did this on a tacoma back in 07. You need to be sure that the cap will vent outside the interior seals or get a non vented cap and run a vent line outside.
