how to swap the grille and lights

I have a 97 blazer with the single big lights and wanted to switch to the grille where the headlights are on top and the blinkers are on the bottom. I was wondering how much pain in the asss it is

you need a 98+ core support, headlights, turn signals, grille.

it's not hard to do, takes a couple of hours and two people if you don't want to take a front fender off. You can losen the fender bolts and have one person pull the fender out as you pop in the newer core support

I have no idea what you just asked.

1994 to 1997 s10 and 1995 to 1997 blazer/jimmy have the same core supports. So the front end parts are interchangeable.

1998 and up have a different core support than the older models. They used one core support in all 98 and up. So gmc and chevy is interchangeable.

in order to swap older years for newer or visaversa you need to change the core support as well.

The headlights in the truck photo above are called composite headlights. These head lights are brighter and give you more options for lighting.

In order to switch to sealed beam or from sealed beam to composite headlights. You will need the proper grill and head light corner light and harness bigtail.

You can probably trade them because most people like the composite headlights better.
