Not all pins from the factory radio will get used, so don't worry too much about that. The red wire you got seperately is for accessory power, which you'll need. That wasn't put into the harness because some vehicles that used that particular harness configuration didn't actually have accessory power in the factory radio harness, so you had to get it elsewhere. But anyways...

Here's the wires you need to concern yourself with if you want to double check:

    12V+ Constant - Orange
    Ground - Black
    12V+ Accessory - Dark Green
    Illumination - Gray
Dimmer - Purple w/ White Stripe
    LF Speaker +/- - Tan/Gray
    RF Speaker +/- - Light Green/Dark Green
    LR Speaker +/- - Brown/Yellow
RR Speaker +/- - Dark Blue/ Light Blue

Just plug the pin for the red wire into the pin that lines up with the dark green wire on the factory harness (the other one should be hooked up to your speakers, but double check with a test light if you want) and you're good to go.

Called this morrning. Crutchfields customer service is top notch. They went threw every pin in my trucks stock stereos harness with me. And every pin in the new harness. Told me which wires to isolate. Got it all wired and sounds great. Alot better than the stock one. This weekend amp and sub.
