i did NGK, wires, cap, rotor, cleaned drop in k&n, and cleaned the throttle body the other day. Still fells slow!! As for the V8, I have an 08 Trailblazer SS the Im putting a 4L80e in just got kooks 1 7/8 and all kinds of suspention mods. Im getting that ready for a Maggie next year. My 01 is my DD so I was wanting a little umff without killing the MPG like a cam would do. Now if I put a muffler and a CAI on it with a mild tune I might pick up around 30hp

yeah, free flowing exhaust, air filter, and tune and i wouldnt touch anything else.... maybe a 180 stat to go along with the tune if its pretty agressive.

Otherwise anything more is a waste when it could have gone into a v8 swap.

    TBSS's are nice rigs too.

never could get that cock sucker to respond to any of my e-mails or phone calls. Guess he was scared he couldn't tune my combo.

oh and if you play your cards right a V8 s10 WILL get better mileage than its v6 counterpart. Best i ever saw out of mine was 26 on the highway.

I need to get me V8 back in to get the tune looked at......with the A/C running lately i only got 15mpg around town.....with a roast of the tires sideways a couple times......

and my tuner picked up 50hp from a dyno tune on a stock 4.3 with a K&N drop in filter and flowmaster muffler

Im thinking 5.3 eventually, what would be a suspension upgrade its a 2001 2WD 2 door. I would like a drop but a quality drop.

depends on how much drop you want and how much money you want to spend.
