The injectors themselves don't necessarily give you more power, but certainly the higher fueling capacity will take better advantage of all the other mods.

Looking back at the picture I'm jealous of that really nice metal MAP hold down. The plastic clips on the Gen III engine intakes are complete trash.

The injectors aren't what will give me more power, just allow me to fuel more power. The extra power comes from the added intake volume and the air being able to flow better without the spider assembly in the way.

I made the MAP hold down from a stainless steel bracket I had lying around the garage. Some time, a large vise, and 3lb sledge hammer, gave me the perfect hold down. I had to cut the stock "hold down" tabs off the MAP sensor for the new hold down to work. So thank you for noticing something that took a few times to get right.

Exactly what I was getting at even if I didn't word it well. The spider setup was holding back the potential and now you've got plenty of room to grow.

drilled and tapped all holes needed for vacuum and coolant. Got a free set of 28lb injectors from my buddy's Z06 since he went with 60lb for his custom nitrous set up. Junkyard didn't charge me for the 8 EV1 injector plugs. Double score!!!!

Now just need to order the fuel lines and connectors, then I might slap the intake on before the cam to see what power gains just the intake did

Pulled the wiring harness to redo some things and clean it up. While I had that out of the way, I decided to swap the intake, and now the cam. So onto pics of work

New numbers for now are 311hp/367tq. After 5yrs the transmission 3/4 clutch pack burned up as I was beating a 405hp Ford Lighting. New trans is in and waiting to get it tuned for the new 3200 stall

After all the work on this setup......I'm making the move to LSx swap her. In the end it will be less to make more with the LS motor. Going to be a slow build since I'm not in a rush and can still have fun with what I have.
