    Air Bag conversion from leafs

I'm totally new here. I hope I haven't broken any rules by proceeding to post.

I'm tearing down an 87 s10 to install an air bag lowering system. I'm not sure how to convert from leafs. I've seen some really expensive bolt on 4-links, but it seems like there would be an easier, cheaper way. I've seen a lot about the actual bag install, and lots of pics of guys who have modded the frames, but nothing about the linkage system that will mount the rear axle to the frame for the bags to sit between. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you have many options on link setups. 2,3,4 link and so on.. its all based on what you want to spend and the ride quality you want to spend.

So I'm guessing the more links the better the ride? I'm not looking for a race suspension or anything, just want it smooth enough that my wife doesn't bitch. I want it to ride lower than stock, but mainly I want to be able to drop it almost to the ground when parked.

well your ride can be determined by bag placement, shocks and so on.. the link setup will basically handle the performance aspect. all these factors play a part.. stick with a 3 or 4 link and you will be good. bag over axle, or under and behind, as well as on the bar a good canidates for for a good ride.
