Thank you, I wanted an emblem but I didn't want it on the front of my grille. I found this and thought it would look good lit up behind my grille.

I found some VW side markers and wired them in. The hard part us they were a two wire setup and the old ones were 3 wire so I had to use resistors and diodes to make it work like I wanted it to.

What was all involved in making the digital cluster work?

For the most part mine was a color for color match. I just cut the harness off the out one and spliced the new one on. If you Google it you will find a few write ups on it that will give you what pins do what for both clusters

Thanks a bunch. I have a good line on an entire dash and was thinking about doing the swap. You'll understand if you check out the link in my sig.

I'm did a little work to the truck over the winter. It kinda sucks not having a garage to work in so I have to wait for warm weather.

Went to my dads and stripped the block down. It is at the machine shop now getting bored out to .040.

But now the V8 is going to have to be put on hold. My wife and I have decided to start saving to buy a house. The good thing is I have enough little stuff to do to keep me busy for a while.

Sense I'm modding the front end i need turn signals you can see from the side. Here is what I'm solution...

I have amber LEDs that will be wired inside the mirror.

So this project got put on hold for a while so we can buy a house. I did talk the wife into letting me get the motor I wanted. The one I had at my days ended up being a 305 so the pistons wouldn't work and I ran across this...

All I need for it is the harness.

I also got a great deal on the wheels I wanted 17" front 18" rears

Now it is back to saving for the house.
