    Cool 3 inch drop?

I just recently ordered 3 inch drop coils and 2 inch drop spindles....my problem is they sent the 1 inch drop coils. Would that still give me the 3 inches im looking for,for the front?

    2" drop spindles + 1" drop springs = 3" drop total

Were you looking for 3" or 5"? Because it sounds like you wanted 5" originally.

How do you know they are 1" drop coils? Does it say that on the box or are you measuring them compared to the stock ones? If you are going by measurements, you can't. They incorporate most of the drop in the spring rate not the length of the coils.

If you only want a 3" overall drop in the front then a 1" drop coil and a 2" drop spindle will be all you need up front. If you are trying to level the truck along with the drop you will need to drop the back a little more than the front to get rid of the rake. But to answer your original question, YES - the 1" coil with the spindle will give you the 3" you are looking for.

3" coils are pushing it up front anyway as far as control arm to frame clearance. You will like the ride better with the 1" coils and spindles if you're looking for just a 3" drop.

    THIS
People always try to lower their truck like crazy and then wonder why it rides like poo. Then they find out it's on the bumpstops.
It's a heck of a lot easier to change blocks in the back to get the rake or level that you want then it is to mess with front springs.
