I took the Blazer to get smogged yesterday (yay California!) but I failed due to whatever reasons. So i decided just to tear into it right away instead of waiting so that I could at least use it to drive around for a little bit. Here is just some basic progress. Still ordering more parts.

Ya, Cali suck for it's smog crap. But it looks like you getting somewhere anyway. Just don't let the registration lapse or you'll be paying out the nose!

I got one more part, still waiting on fenders and control arms. Took off the fenders and had the rims and tires installed. I was going to gut the interior when I went to remove the front seat...... they are freaking WELDED in! *facepalm* Amazing lol. I will just wait to take them out. I will try and remove the engine this weekend. Still can't believe how high this truck is. Ready to see that pinch kissing the asphalt.

Yea I returned them. Part number is for a 2nd gen but I ordered the 1st gen versions and they should be here soon. $20 more for them. Not bad.

    Thanks for the kudos.

I got sent the wrong rotors (they were for a 2nd gen S-10/Blazer) and returned those and finally go the right ones. Almost have the engine removed, just have to get a cherry picker. Found one on Craigslist but I have no truck for transporting it to my place.

No they are actually pretty chill. I avoid using power tools consistently or else they would get irritated quickly and call the leasing office. I hate apartments too but San Diego is soooo damn expensive. I hate California in general lol
