    Question 86 blazer 18 & 20" tire sizes

    Just got some 20x8.5 & 18x7 trying to get ideas for tire size gonna lower 4/6 not wanting rubber bands any ideas would be greatly appreciated (1986 2 dr 2 wd)

    U should decide tire size b4 U decide how much of a drop to do. If U don't want rubberbands then that's the way I'd start.

    I haven't lowered it yet was hoping to lower it that much if possible I would like to put about a 28" tall tire in the back any ideas on what I should run

    Typically for a 20x8.5 rim.... A 245 35 20 tire fits perfectly. It's 26.8" tall.... If that helps at all

    What you think about 245/45/20 and 225/45/18 and how much drop would you recommend

    Should be able to do a 4" front n 5" rear. 5" in the rear if U hit a good dip or something it might rub a little.

    I appreciate the advice who would've thought it would be so difficult to pick tire sizes hope I don't decide to paint it soon I would never pick a color lol thanks for such a great forum
