I finally dug the ol' girl out of storage and got the heater cable fixed and the dash all put back together. It'll be back on daily driver duty for a couple of days while the zr2 is in for rust repair.

I still check in a few times a month. First time I've posted in a long time. Working on my Blazer again. Just welded up the roof rack holes and currently working on the interior.

I mostly lurk now. The blazer is finally a weekend warrior after being my daily for the last 13yrs. My new daily has taken most of my time, just fixing the normal wear on her. Now that I have a new daily the cam install for the blazer might finally happen!

Still around. Factory 5 speed didn't hold up too well behind the 389 sbc, so I am currently building a 700R4 for it temporarily. Did get to at least shame my buddies stroked 347 cu.in. Mustang before the input shaft bearing let go...lol Also, picked up an 8.8 Exploder rear axle w/ 4:11 posi and disc brakes for the Blazer too. Still plan to go back to stick shift someday. Also finished my 8 point roll cage and installing a new set of Jaz racing seats and 5 point harnesses.

It must be a natural progression.

I sold my Blazer about 6 years ago and I don't think I've logged in since. Now I drive a stock Silverado SS and buy guns.

I haven't been around in a while but I guess I'm back now. Just bought a 2001 Blazer after years of other vehicles.
