2nd gen body on 1st gen frame

I have a really good first gen frame 2wd 4 door with a crappy body. Would it be relatively easy to find a good used 4wd 2nd gen body and swap to the first gen frame?

I'm pretty sure the mounting points are all the same, but want to say the bumper mounts and maybe the core support mounts are different.

The other thing to consider is they did make frame improvements with the second generation especially with the Blazers. The leaf springs are also different between the two generations of Blazers.

Thanks, only reason I am considering this is because I cannot find a 2wd new second gen 4 door blazer up here. The current blazer frame I am using the body is shot and it is tough to find a good one after this many years.
