yenko's are rare as hell, the stripes are awsome,i was considering doning a take off of the old school yenko, baldwin motion, by berger, or nickey type stripe pattern on my gen 1 when i get it, im lookin for one now to do a v8 conversion with, and i want to give it an old school hot rod look. i was even thinkin of putting 350 badges all over it a-la 67 camaro, you never see shit like that ya know.

Hell that sounds cool. If I seen you drive buy, I'd probably break my neck to take a second look at your ride.:bigthumb:
I was considering doing the same thing to my S10 also. Probably just the Indy cross flags on the front of the finders and 350 emblems on the cowl induction hood. I blew up my 383 in my truck so I'm not sure what motor I'm going to use this time(it wont be a 383 this time). Id like to put a SS emblem in the grill If I can find the right type of grill that I will be satisfied with. Hell, I dont know yet. Im still looking around for idea's. :D

Hell, my wife is going to kill me for spending so much money on it.
A 396 would just tear her up knowing I put one in my truck. Hell, you only live once. She cant understand this concept in life.

Depends on a lot. What type of power you've got in there. How much your truckw weighs? You should be able to take them in a race, like a 1/4 mile, but those types of cars will most likely have a greater top end mph.

You will need alot of torque and horse power to twist your frame.
I wouldn't touch it or spend any money on it. S-10 or blazers do not have a unibody frame under them but a full frame. The body is not part of the frame like old muscle cars have.

Yup, Yenko's right on it. I'd look for some traction bars though. Leaf springs aint the best for high tq.

A high powered S10 or blazer will wheel hopp if the springs are not stiffened up. As the rear-end torque's up,your spring's will torque up also causing weight transfer but in laiman's term--wheel hopp accure's which mean's lose of traction. Too cure this problem, put on a set of traction bars or a pair of ladder bars. Both of them will get the job done.
