    Question Laying frame on 20s

has anyone out there been able to make a 4 door 2nd gen. blazer lay on 20s without losing the stock a/c and cutting into the rear door? if you have let me know what needs to be done thanks.

go out and look in your engine bay and see where your a/c brain is. its right over the front right wheel well its bolted to the well itself. im not even close to laying in the front right now and my wheels are touching the wheel wells now. i still have my wheel wells in because if i take them out it would be resting on the a/c, and i alredy know someone who did it and ripped it out just driving. ive been told by a couple of people that they can move it but they said they won't guarantee that it will work so im kinda waitin to hear from someone who has done it. my friend had a body dropped explorer and they had to rework his a/c and it was ok except when he was stopped it wouldnt blow cold.

i put about 10 grand in so far and im about to spend a little more with the addition of a four-link and some new components suspension-wise. which should set me back another 2 grand. this is taking place on nov. 20 hopefully. i'll post some new pics after i get that and my roll pan. also i hope to have it fully shaven, with a taillight conversion and painted before blood drag.

i wouldnt have to lose my back seat at all. some one told me that i might have to weld my back doors shut though. but the seats could stay. we'll see.

i dont know if this would apply to 2nd gens too, but i think the only reason for them saying youd have to weld your doors shut is because the rear tires come up into the door jamb. like on this blazer but thats bodydropped too so i dont know. hope the stupid link works. it dont if you want to see it look at wickedchevy on streetsourcemag.com

yea i'm putting my truck in to get the four link done tommorrow and the kid looked at it whos doing it and said that he can just make the four link a little longer so the door jam shoouldnt come into play as much as it would if it was normal length either way the floor is coming up for the notch and theres gonna be new wheel wells. well see soon. ill put some pics on.

What's the problem with slammin customs, they've done my entire truck and I have no problems with it. Art of noize does the shittiest work in west palm...ask anyone, I have 3 friends that got their bags done there, they're extremely disappointed with their work and it's cheezy. I'm curious as to what your complaints are from slammin' customs, let me know because I'm friends with the owner
