the moral of the story, is v6's suck, and if youre gonna spend several thousnad, drop in a v8. v8s (350cu.in.) usually start at 300hp, which is at least 100-125 more hp than your current v6. youre lucky to have a first generation blazer, because from what i hear on these forums, its pretty easy to do a v8 swap. do yourself a favor and go get yourslef a gm crate 350 homie

why the fuck are you trying to flame on me for?

"because from what i hear on these forums, its pretty easy to do a v8 swap."

Yeah, actually I have done a v8 swap. Have you? No, so don't tell me it's easy.

Maybe he's going the turbo route b/c in his state it's illegal to change motors unless you go with something that came factory.

I've seen a modded out v6 spank a v8 before, you wanna tell me that v6's are shitty, go talk in the sy/ty forums. Tell them a v8 can spank a turbo v6. They'll love you.

Reason I'm "flaming" you is b/c you're saying shit's easy when you've never even done it.

    myk

    yeah
v6s are shitty and ill stand by my word. a 4 cyl is shitty too. and the point i was trying to make, was that its fucking stupid to try to supe up a little engine, and spend 3-4000 on doing so to get the same horsepower as you can easily get out of a v8. just how most of us think its stupid for ricers to hook up their shitty little 4s. k?

your trying to say that v-6's suck and no one agrees it is a little more involved to turbo a v-6 but its also a better mod gets more attention looks better and has a bigger wow factor

so whats the max hp you can possibly get out of a v6, compared to a v8?
    exactly.

oh yes, this is a big thing in my opinion, the sound of a v8

    lol yeah
but i wouldnt have the satisfaction of having an s10 blazer thatll easily roll over any lowered s10
this is what im planning on getting as soon as i possibly can, this blazer has the same kit installed... 11"suspension lift- all bolt on- with a jeep straight front axle conversion kit (badass), with 35" tires (could fit 38" with a small body lift), i dont mean to get this thread off topic... (i said i wanted a monster truck for hte hell of it)

    get a v8!!!!!!

(could fit 38" with a small body lift),

on my old fullsize chevy it had a a 6inch suspension and 3inch body lift and we had both 35" swampers and 38" swampers and they were the exact same size. only difference was the tread pattern and the 35's wire wider
