Want to shave the gas filler on my 86 Blaze and relocate it behind the tail light. Came here for some input but the tread is not showing any pics I guess as result of the site crash. Where can I find some pic's of this done? Got a good Idea on what I need to do. Would just like some photo reference just to make sure I'm not looking over something. Thanks to anyone that can help.

Pic's of the actual filler is what I was lookin for. Was wondering just how far recessed it was gonna be to make it work. Didn't want it to be to awkward to put gas in. To I want to completely hide the hinge, gonna try a few different hinges to see if it can be done. Yours turned out great! It has given me a new idea on the way I might mount the hinges on mine. Thanks for the input and help. Would like to see a few more also.

ya, i think i made the box 3 or 4 inches deep, was a pretty tight fit getting the pipe in there to go to the gas tank, i ended up buying a s10 tail pipe and cutting it apart and using that, worked out great, i can get some pics of it underneath this saturday at my shop if ya want and if i remember lol
